EDQUM
Enhanced Divisional Quality Use of Medicines (EDQUM) is a program whereby savings produced in the cost of the Pharmaceutical Benefits scheme as a result of the Division’s efforts to improve the use of medications in our region are
re-invested in public health activities with the Division.
Hawkesbury-Hills Division of General Practice’s EDQUM program comprises 3 parts:
- Increasing the availability of Allied Health Care services within the General Practice setting.
- Working with practices to improve their information management systems.
- Implementing new models of primary health care support that showcase closer integration of General Practice and other community and primary health care providers.
