Information Management
Information Management is a broad term, but in the General Practice context, it means all the processes in managing your patient data. In other words how you build, organise, distribute and protect your clinical records. The aim of the Division’s Information management is to help you put in place systems that will assist you and your practice on the way towards better patient care. For example, improving the quality of your clinical data, helping you with more effective Register, Recall and Reminder systems as well as maintaining effectively chronic disease patient groups are just some of the things we can do for you. In addition, we assist Practices that are computerising or upgrading their software or simply feel they need to get more out of their software.
We provide training (CPD events and in-house training) and general assistance with templates and other medical software features.
The Division recognises that General Practitioners in North-West Sydney are overburdened with their workload and could use a helping hand—that’s why we are here to help you!
